1. Support the Regional Office Media and Public Information activities by designing
Regional Public Information and visibility material, factsheets and Infographics based on
global and regional reports and as advised.

2. In consultation with the Thematic Units and country offices, support the design and
layout of a series of research reports, and factsheets and infographics to disseminate
summary findings and recommendations of studies/assessments across the MENA region.
3. Assist in designing special social media packages for international observance days.
4. Assist in designing special products for the website including clickable buttons,
headers and maps.
5. Review and suggest revamping of visibility products for the Regional Office with
emphasis on: holiday e-cards, end of year giveaways, events visibility banners, events
handout folders.
6. Coordinate with HQ's Graphic Designing Unit, to produce standard templates for
Arabic use editable in both In-Design and Word formats, following the New IOM Brand
Guidelines.
7. Document regional events and activities by photos and videos, as advised.
8. Create regular and creative multi-media content, i.e. GIFs, photo-documentaries,
short videos, as advised.
9. Produce Arabic social media templates, following HQ's templates, for specific
content, i.e. quote cards, videos, etc.; and produce an IOM MENA Arabic graphic identity for
social media products based on HQ's graphic identity, i.e. special font and colours for
videos, hashtags on photos or posters, etc.
10. Write/Translate creative digital content in Arabic and English.
11. Provide in-house training for concerned staff on basic in-design and Photoshop
editing, and on basic adobe premiere editing skills.
12. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in audio-visual and/or graphic designing, or a related field from an
accredited academic institution with three years of relevant professional experience.
Experience:
• Demonstrated experience in multimedia and graphic designing.
• Proven experience in multi-lingual production particularly in English and Arabic.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating complex and timely communications activities.
• Good understanding of social media marketing.
• UN experience, a plus.
Skills:
• Good photography and video & audio skills (filming, editing).
• Creative In-Design skills including motion Graphics.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Arabic is required (Oral and Written). Working knowledge of French is an
advantage.
