SUPPLY PLANNER


MISSION


Size and supply inventory for Singapore regional distribution center to achieve target service level in APAC within inventory and costs objectives.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

·       Costs: Obsolescence & Transportation


 RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES


Size inventory


·       Define and communicate the target stock level and stock model for the regional hub according to life cycle (new products, basic items, phasing out...), distribution channels and expected service level


Deploy Inventory


·       Ensure the inventory deployment is done according to the demand and inventory level in coordination with central demand management, local distribution planning, demand planning and customer service teams


·       Allocate the products by channel according to the short and medium term priorities


·       Control the availability of products, identify and report the shortages / stocks excess risks


Rebalance inventory


·       Identify opportunities of product rebalancing in APAC and worldwide distribution network


Manage Product Life Cycle Management


·       Plan and organize new product launches and end of life product strategies in cooperation with the Sales / Marketing / Forecasting / Distribution planning departments


·       Optimize the inventory depletion (sales, staff sales, returns & disposal...)


Performance analysis and communication


·       Analyze and report on service, inventory and cost performance


·       Elaborate corrective and preventive action plans


 


WORK RELATIONS


Reports to: Supply Planning Manager


Internal work relations: Regional and central Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Subsidiaries planning and importation teams


External work relations: N/A

Professional experience


·       2-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain


Education


·       University Degree / Bachelor


Languages


·       Fluent English


·       Able to speak French fluently in order to liaise with the Central teams in France


APICS certification is a plus
