Présentation
The Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Metz trains general engineers in mechanical and industrial engineering, in 5 years after the baccalaureate or in 3 years after a 2-year baccalaureate.
THE ESSENTIAL
- A public school accredited by the "Commission des titres d'ingénieur" to award the engineering diploma.
- Generalist, professional training: practical courses from the 1st year, an 18-week internship from the 2nd year.
- Strong links with companies to adapt training to the needs of the business world.
- International studies
- Rapid and successful integration into working life
- At the heart of a group of 4 schools: the "Écoles Nationales d'Ingénieurs" group (Metz, Brest, Saint-Etienne, Tarbes)
A professional training program for successful integration into working life
With two internships and an end-of-studies project integrated into the curriculum, ENIM engineering students spend 1/3 of their training in contact with the business world.
These periods enable students to put their knowledge and skills into practice and gain real professional experience for a rapid and successful integration into working life.
Semester-based training based on the European ECTS system means that the ENIM engineering diploma is recognized throughout the European Union.
- 2nd year internship: 18 weeks
- 4th year internship: 18 weeks
- 5th year end-of-studies project: 20 weeks
A personalized course
Every ENIM engineer has a unique profile. Throughout his or her training, he or she develops a professional project based on the knowledge, skills and know-how transmitted to him or her, and personalizes his or her profile according to his or her interests through internships, end-of-studies projects, options, double degrees, community involvement, etc.
Going international
With 105 partnerships in more than 25 countries around the world, ENIM welcomes foreign students every year and offers its engineering students a range of opportunities to study abroad:
- academic semester in 2nd or 4th year
- double degrees in partnership with institutions in many countries: Germany, UK, Ireland, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, China and Tunisia
- internships to learn about working methods outside France.
A dynamic community life
To enable students to get involved in a wide range of sports, humanitarian, cultural and technical associations, Thursday afternoons are free of classes.
This life on the periphery of studies allows students to become part of the school dynamic and acquire social skills.
The Bureau Des Elèves (BDE), ENIM's central association, federates all student associations. Its aim is to enable students to achieve their full potential throughout their years of training, and plays a coordinating role between associations and clubs.
