The BNP Paribas Group has a long standing presence and commitment to the Middle East and Africa.

We have been present in the Middle East for 40 years and have operations in five countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates in addition to covering Oman. In Africa, we have been active for more than 70 years, first through our Retail Banking network followed by the more recent addition of Corporate & Institutional Banking covering North Africa, South Africa and West Africa.

BNP Paribas has been operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a Full Commercial Branch since 2005 and through the BNP Paribas Investment Company KSA since 2010.

We established as a Full Commercial Branch in 2005, under Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) regulation, providing our clients across the Kingdom with Corporate Banking services.

We then established BNP Paribas Investment Company KSA in 2010, under the Capital Market Authority (CMA) License No. 08114-15, as a provider of; Dealing as Principal, Dealing as Agent, Custody and Arranging. In 2013, the CMA also granted BNP Paribas Investment Company KSA, permission to undertake Managing Investment Funds and Advisory, this activity will commence at a later date.
