Applications for Q-Life Winter School “Transcribing the Genome in 4-D” are now open. The winter school will take place in February 2019 at the Ecole normale supérieure in Paris by the Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL) Research University and its Q-Life program in quantitative biology.

The workshop will cover the latest advances in single-cell transcriptomics and single-molecule approaches, as well as dynamical modelling of gene networks and chromosome organisation.

In addition to lectures from a broad range of experts, participants will be introduced to the know-how through performing digital simulation work.

The school is designed for Master and PhD students, as well as postdocs, engineers and junior scientists with backgrounds in biology, physics, computer science or mathematics.

Deadline for applications: December 13, 2018.

More information and application procedure may be found in the website.
