CONFAP launched a call with the objective of supporting Brazilian researchers and institutions interested in joining an international consortia of research institutions from Europe and abroad to run research and innovation projects through short-term mobility of their staff (research, innovation, administrative and technical staff).

CONFAP is the Brazilian National Council of State Funding Agencies.

At least 13 FAPs participate in the call and will support their researchers. Other FAPs may support researchers based in their states under other mechanisms. Please, check with your FAPS.

About the European Commission MSCA RISE call

Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) funds short-term exchanges of personnel between academic, industrial and commercial organisations throughout the world.

Proposals must include at least three partners, which can be academic or non-academic organisations from three different countries. At least two of these should be from the EU or associated countries.

Note that Brazilian institutions can join a consortium as partner, but cannot receive direct funding from the European Commission for the secondment of their researchers or for other research, training and networking activities. Participation of Brazilian Institutions is threfore open, but co-financing from the Brazilian side is needed. This is the objective of CONFAP-RISE call.
