The VIE International Internship Programme at the French Embassy

The Chamber of Commerce and Business France are hosting a special event on the topic "The VIE International Internship Programme" at the French Embassy on November 14th.

The VIE International Internship Programme is a French initiative, enabling businesses to give candidates at the age of 18 to 28 years a temporary assignment of between 6 and 24 months in a foreign country.

Global figures :
- 7 600 businesses are certified by the VIE International Internship Programme
- 9 200 interns are currently placed all over the world
- 62 000 young people have completed an international internship in the last 15 years

In Denmark more than 30 French young people are working as a VIE.

Danish companies can benefit from the VIE program, and thus employ a young European citizen on favourable conditions for a specific period of time if:

- the company is affiliated to a French group

- the company owns an affiliate in France

- the company acts as an agent or distributor for a French company willing to employ the VIE intern
