About “The best wine in China”

It is all about the extraordinary adventure of a young French wine-grower from vigneron who left for China to make wines. Employed by a novice businessman and placed under a touchy Chinese boss, Benjamin arrives in the far western region of China with full of enthusiasm. His mission there is to produce the best wine of China. A series of different obstacles, like a few hundred hectares of desert to be transformed into vineyard for natural difficulties, mutual incomprehension and his French statue to be manipulated for the label of French quality for cultural difficulties and lack of financial resources for economic difficulties, makes his objective impossible. This film talks about not only the difficulty of international cooperation which involve political and economic concerns, risk of incomprehension, disappointment of each but also joyful encounter of cultural diversity.
