Requirements:

• Finance, Economics based degree or a professional qualification such as CFA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) or other (i.e. engineering degree + finance qualification)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (sponsor-side M&A / project finance team or within a bank, financial advisory firm and/or accounting/fiscal advisory firm)
• Experience in planning and managing processes.
• Proven experience in financial modelling and up-to-date proficiency in excel (including writing basic Macros.
• LOCATION: Ciudad de Mexico. Some to frequent travel within Mexico and some travel to other LATAM countries expected (esp. Chile); on few occasions travel outside the LATAM region possible. Local contract.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for preparation of financial models / financial analyses or reviewing and/or audit financial models / financial analyses of financial models prepared by other team members
• Responsible for the valuation of development projects
• Responsible for analysis of financial (or financing related) risks and impact of proposed transactions on accounting
• Assist with the structuring and execution of financing plans for new projects
• Responsible for preparing or assisting with financing, accounting and tax related inputs in financial models (where required with the support of relevant expertise centres and/or external consultants)
• Assist with the preparation of appropriate financing plans
• Assist with the selection of banks / financing institutions and/or agencies
• Assist business development decision making process
• Assist with analysis on risk allocation, bankability issues, optimisation & tax structuring.
