เตรียมชมผลงานศิลปะชิ้นใหม่ล่าสุด ที่เปี่ยมไปด้วยความหมาย จากศิลปินระดับโลก หยาน เพ่ย หมิง ที่กรุงเทพมหานคร! จิตรกรชาวจีน เป็นที่จดจำจากผลงานภาพวาดบุคคล เช่น รูปใบหน้าของอดีตประธานาธิบดี เหมา เจ๋อ ตุง ด้วยโครงสีแบบโมโนโครม ( การใช้โทนสีๆเดียวคลุมทั้งภาพ ) และด้วยเทคนิคการโชว์น้ำหนักของรอยแปรงขนาดใหญ่และเล็ก กับก้อนสีที่สร้างอารมณ์ภาพให้หนักแน่น ผลงานของเขาโดยมากมีขนาดใหญ่ ถึงใหญ่มาก งานศิลปะชิ้นสำคัญของเขาถูกเก็บสะสมและจัดแสดงในพิพิธภัณฑ์ชั้นนำ ทั้งศูนย์ศิลปะร่วมสมัยปอมปิดูว์ กรุงปารีส, พิพิธภัณฑ์ลูฟวร์ ปารีส และ พิพิธภัณฑ์ลูฟวร์ อาบูดาบี ฯลฯ ใน เทศกาลศิลปะร่วมสมัย นานาชาติ บางกอก อาร์ต เบียนนาเล่นี้เอง เรามีความยินดีที่จะประกาศว่า “หยาน เพ่ย หมิง” จะสร้างสรรค์ผลงานจิตรกรรมขนาดใหญ่ชิ้นใหม่ เพื่องานนี้โดยเฉพาะ ภาพวาด ของ “มารดา” ที่เกิดจากความรู้สึกในจิตใจของศิลปินเอง หลังสูญเสียคุณแม่อันเป็นที่รักไปเมื่อไม่นานมานี้ เขาจึงตั้งใจจะรำลึกถึงแม่ และแสดงความรักผ่านผลงานชิ้นนี้ รอติดตามชม ผลงานสุดพิเศษชิ้นนี้ได้ ในเทศกาลศิลปะร่วมสมัยนานาชาติ บางกอก อาร์ต เบียนนาเล่ 19 ตุลาคมนี้
“I’m interested in everything, just as much art history as historical figures and the anonymous,” a quote that gives a lot of insight into this world famous portrait painter - Yan Pei Ming. Born in Shanghai in 1960, Yan spends most of his time in Dijon, France, close to his most famous works and where he was formally educated in the fine arts. Known for his grandiose portraits on an epic scale - painted only in either black and white or red and white - he has art hung on walls all over the world but his most acclaimed works can be found in the Louvre, Paris.
For BAB, he is intent on creating what is sure to be his most adored portrait yet, personally and for the masses, as he will eternalize his mother, forever on canvas. Having lost his mother recently to the recourse of time, Yan felt it best to share his celebration of her life with us here, further expressing the theme of the festival ‘Beyond Bliss.’
