Why study in France? What's it like to study there? What's everyday life like? Can you find your way there? Learn your future profession there? Our new communication campaign hands the mic to those who know best: alumni. For Tahina, who comes from Madagascar, the ‘rendez-vous en France’ is first of all a scholarship for women in science. Learn more about her background.

Her "rendez-vous en France": a scholarship for women in science

Winner of the L'Oréal-Unesco For Women in Science Scholarship, Tahina chose to enrol in a PhD program at the University of Reunion Island's computer science and mathematics laboratory. She specialized in distributed artificial intelligence.

Tahina is now a research engineer at the CEA in Paris-Saclay, an institution of excellence ranked 13th in the world in the Shanghai 2021 ranking. Tahina works actively on a European project concerning drones.

I chose France because it is very well ranked in the world in terms of education and research.
To all the women who would like to work in research, I would say "Go for it, science needs you!"

Along with Tahina, Campus France invites you to come to France.
