Ecole Centrale de Marseille is an graduate engineering school, member of the Groupe des Ecoles Centrales (CentraleSupélec, Centrale Lille, Centrale Lyon, Centrale Nantes). Centrale Marseille is active in higher education and research and is involved with companies. The thematic fields offered by Centrale Marseille are mechanics, mathematics, physics, chemistry, process engineering and economy. Our institution is involved in an ecosystem forstering its activities: member of the foundation AMIDEX (Aix-Marseille Initiative d'Excellence: Aix-Marseille Université, IEP d'Aix-en-Provence, CEA, CNRS, IRD, AP-HM, INSERM), member of several international networks such as T.I.M.E. (Top industrial Managers for Europe), R.M.E.I. (Réseau Méditerranéen des Ecoles d'Ingénieurs) and Maghalães (south-american network), or national networks such as Fédération Gay-Lussac (network of engineering schools in chemistry and chemical engineering).

Our institution offers several degrees:

  • Engineering degree (Master level): general engineering
  • Masters in Science and Technology joint with Aix-Marseille Université
  • Bachelor MPCI joint with Aix-Marseille Université
  • Specialized Master in Engineering and Marine Energies

The training programs rely on the pedagogical expertise developped by the Groupe des Ecoles Centrales for general engineering curriculum.

Ecole Centrale de Marseille fosters internationalization, innovation (research and development  through its subsidiary C-Innov shared with Centrale Lyon and Centrale Nantes, technology transfert through SATT Sud-Est), entrepreuneurship (technology incubators Impulse, Belle-de-Mai, Marseille Innovation) and social opening.

Our institution shares seven labs with Aix-Marseille Université and CNRS:

  1. I2M : Mathematics
  2. Institut Fresnel : Physics, Optics, Photonics
  3. LMA : Mechanics
  4. IRPHE : Mechanics
  5. M2P2 : Mechanics and Process Engineering
  6. ISM2 : Chemistry
  7. GREQAM : Economy

Centrale Marseille develops strong relationships with companies (competitive clusters Pégase for aeronautics, CapEnergies for energy, Optitec for optics/photonics, Risques for risk management).
