Founded in 1909, the Groupe ESSCA, Member of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles, AACSB and EPAS by EFMD accredited, offers Master's degree programs in French and English at various locations in France (Angers, Paris) and Budapest, Hungary and in China (Shangai) as well as  Bachelor's degree programs (in French) and Msc (in English). A total of 3 000 students are enrolled at the different locations. All ESSCA students must do a study abroad program. Every year 500 French students enroll in a network of partner universities and, in return, Groupe ESSCA welcomes an equal number of foreign students. Group ESSCA began its program in Budapest in 1993, which gives a true European dimension to its program. In 2006, ESSCA has had a site in Shanghai, China.
