ENGEES (national school of hydrological and environmental engineering in Strasbourg) is essentially a school of hydraulics as applied to the environment. Its chief mission is to train graduate engineers who are ready to assume immediate operational responsibilities in the areas of municipal water supply and sanitation (drinking water, purification, waste treatment), sustainable regional development, management of environmental and health risks, and management of public services. Instruction is provided by a faculty of academic research professors and active professionals.
