L'Institut National Polytechnique Toulouse (INP Toulouse) is a public institution of a scientific, cultural and professional nature, under the authority of the Ministry in charge of Higher Education, accredited by the Commission des Titres to award the diplôme d'ingénieur. Founded in 1970, INP Toulouse federates 3 engineering schools : INP-ENSAT, INP-ENSIACET, INP-ENSEEIHT, and 3 affiliated institutions INP-ENIT, INP-ENM, INP-Purpan. INP Toulouse has 2 main missions: train engineers formally and in continuing education and develop research. INP Toulouse has a President appointed by board of administration.  It proposes engineering training, and an integrated Preparatory Class, in 15 specialities and participates in 19 research laboratories cooperating with the other universities of Toulouse and research organisms (CNRS, INRA)
