The Ecole Normale Superieure de Rennes is a prestigious public institution of higher education and research and one of the major French Grandes Ecoles which are considered to be the pinnacle of French higher education. It is specialises in preparing young students for careers in higher education, research and innovation. It trains students in the fields of Economics;Law and Management, Science and Telecommunications, Mathematics, Mechatronics and Sport Sciences and Physical Education.
Each year, around 400 students follow Master's Degree programmes jointly accredited with the University of Rennes 1 and Rennes 2.
