Launched in late November as part of the French government plan “France Relance”, the platform “1 jeune, 1 solution” aims at a double main objective: putting in relation, directly and mutually, young people looking for a job or professional training, with companies offering a job or training with young people!

Launched in late November as part of the French government plan “France Relance” (France Recovery), the platform “1 jeune, 1 solution” (1 young people, 1 solution) aims at a double main objective: putting in relation, directly and mutually, young people looking for a job or professional training, with companies offering a job or training with young people!

 Because the economic consequences of the sanitary crisis have impacted and still lastingly impact young people, the French government (which considers this issue a priority), dedicates the first part of its “France Relance” plan to young people. With 6.5 billion Euros available in funds, this plan anticipates practical steps to help young people from 16 to 25 years old come out of the current crisis.

Targeted recovery plan

The “1 jeune, 1 solution” plan “is the illustration of strong-impacting commitment” and offers actions adapted to every situation. These steps are guided by three priorities:

- entry in professional life;

- guidance and training for 200,000 young people in markets of growth and trades of the future;

- assistance for 300,000 young people struggling to get a job, through the implementation of a tailor-made insertion career.

A platform for the young

To complete these objectives and “find your future”, a complete platform has been implemented to facilitate all searches, of any kind. Thanks to easy-to-use functionalities, such as “Je trouve un emploi” (Find a job), “Je trouve une formation” (find professional training), “J’ai besoin d’un accompagnement” (I need assistance), “Je participe à un évènement” (Participate in an event), the platform helps you access to the website resources directly:

- by clicking on the “Je trouve un emploi” button, a user can view about 20,000 offers he/she can check using (or not) filters by category of occupation, category of employment contract, work duration, and location;

- the tab “Je participe à un évènement” lets you join hundreds of recruitment events (fairs, jobdating, workshops, info sessions, open door days) specifically for young people and organised all over France;

- the button “Je trouve une formation” lets you check out all information necessary on training and certification programmes (training in higher education, dual training, local training);

- and with the “J’ai besoin d’un accompagnement” button, you can set a customised appointment directly with a counsellor from the “Réseau des missions locales pour l’emploi” (Network of Local Missions for Employment).

A platform for employers

The “1 jeune, 1 solution” platform actually offers a double entry: young or employer. If you are an employer, the platform offers to “discover solutions to help you recruit”. From the website, an employer can post a job offer (in collaboration with Pôle Emploi). But an employer can also gain information on many assistance actions implemented by the government (help in recruitment, recruitment bonus) and participate in recruitment events. Employers may also join the national movement “Les entreprises s’engagent pour les jeunes” (Companies act for young people) to “provide visibility to your company putting forward actions for young people”.
