The new “Bienvenue en France” communication campaign gives a voice to those who have chosen France for their higher education. Each portrait explores a student’s journey, from his or her country to France, within his or her institution and up to the realisation of his or her professional project. Twenty alumni volunteered to send a simple message: “I chose France for my higher education, what about you?”.

Samir is a young Algerian who graduated in architecture who was attracted by the architectural heritage of France and its major names such as Jean Nouvel. He challenged himself to try a new experience in Paris, in International Master in Technical Heritage and Industry Territories. As part of his training course, he participates in workshops in France and Italy. It opened something in him: as an architect, he now wants to combine the innovation of the 21st century with inspiration from the past.
